ProfitMetrics Google Sheets Extension Privacy

This section outlines the specific privacy practices related to the Profitmetrics Google Sheets extension.

Google User Data Accessed

The Profitmetrics Google Sheets extension requires access to the user's Google Sheet(s) that the user explicitly authorizes the extension to use. Specifically, the extension accesses the spreadsheet ID, sheet names, cell data (values and formatting), and ranges within the user's selected Google Sheet. This extension does not access any other Google account information, such as the user's email, Google Drive files, or other personal data, only the email address of the Google sheet owner.

How the Extension Uses Google User Data

The extension uses the accessed Google Sheet data solely for the purpose of importing and displaying the company's Profitmetrics dashboard KPIs into the Google Sheet. The extension utilizes the ability to write to the Google Sheet to populate the sheet with data retrieved from the user's Profitmetrics account. The extension does not store or transmit the user's Google Sheet data outside of the necessary functions to import it. The data is processed in real-time to populate the sheet and is not retained after the extension has finished executing. The extension temporarily holds the retrieved Profitmetrics data in memory while it is being written to the user's Google Sheet. No data is stored persistently.

Important Notes

The extension's functionality is dependent on having access to the specified Google Sheet. Revoking access will prevent the extension from working correctly. By using the Profitmetrics Google Sheets extension, you consent to the access and use of your Google Sheet data as described in this section.
